A native Texan, Dr. Soumo Banerji has been studying, training, and practicing medicine in the great state of Texas throughout his life and remarkable career. He showed great promise early, being chosen as Valedictorian of Ball High School Class of 1999. He then proceeded to advance his education, graduating from Rice University in 2003, achieving a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He then attended Baylor College of Medicine, where he achieved his Medical Doctorate degree in 2007.

After a surgical internship at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Banerji completed five years of General Surgery training at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso, Texas.
He then returned to Houston to complete a residency in Plastic Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital in 2016, where he mastered the latest surgical innovations in techniques to enhance or restore face, breasts, and body.
